WGP x BAWN Textiles

Bawn was established in 2020 by Irish textile specialist Bevan O'Daly in Glasgow, Scotland. Bawn was set up with a focus on bridging the gap between the growing sustainable textile supply chain and the customer. Together we designed a limited collection of bespoke ceramic pin dishes and fabric weight sets.

WGP x Tender Hands Press

Tender Hands is a small community-focused risograph press, specialising in creative skill-sharing workshops and publishing + distributing printed matter by marginalised creatives, grassroots and non-profit organisations. Run by Saffa Khan, Tender Hands Press is based in the Southside of Glasgow. Saffa guided me through the printmaking process to turn my cobalt brushwork motifs into a riso poster and pattern book.

WGP x Grain and Grind

A small-batch coffee roaster born in the heart of Glasgow's Southside. Together we developed a range of serving wares for their cafes including mugs, coffee cups, milk pourers and dimple espresso cups.

WGP x Two Eight Seven

two.eight.seven is a small bakery space, take away coffee bar & provisions store run by Sam & Anna Luntley. Their bakery on the Southside of Glasgow champions local ingredients, hard work, good ethics and the hand of the maker / grower / milker / roaster / baker / tender. Together we designed a limited run of coffee cups with a wheatsheaf motif hand illustrated in Iron Oxide brushwork.

WGP x Tills bookshop

Established in 1985, Tills is one of Edinburgh's oldest second-hand bookshops. It sits overlooking the Meadows, and has carved out a small literary corner in Edinburgh's South Side. Working with Kate and Josh, I made a collection of plates and mugs to use as they expand they’re food and drink offerings.

Collaboration and Community

As a maker I am keen to be part of a wider creative community. One way to engage with and learn from those around me is through collaborations. Each year I make time for a few select projects with makers and small creative businesses in order to push myself and build new partnerships. These projects are usually born of a personal connection, whether a common interest, a chance meeting or a shared ethos. All of the people I work with place value in sustainable practice, exploring shared ideas and championing haptic skill. If you are a professional maker and have an idea for a project you can get in touch using the form on my contact page.
